KOREA:
started after having a conversation with my cousin in the car during my trip in South Korea.
we talked about the state of social media and the burden that many parents go through when supporting their children.


PROBLEM:
to keep it simple. 
social media has become our escape from responsibility.
financially, physically, mentally, and socially.


it keeps us in a constant dopamine loop of seeing our dream future, events of the past, and brain rot of the present.
distracting us from what truly matters.

and so i dedicated my entire third year at university to solving this problem.
after many iterations and trials of developing apps/websites,
i finally came to the most basic yet effective form of substituting social media.

MISSION:
the most effective change starts with those most affected, and for our case, the peers that i go to school with and students across the world.


this isn't about making an app that will make me the next Zuckerberg, it's about saving a third of everyone's life from digital media. 
a cultural movement to no longer conform to the patterns of consumerism.

living every moment to it's fullest potential and leaving the rest into God's hands.

'be present.' is written in 17 different languages to show that we're all victims to the same mind-enslavement but we're also the same players that live on their own terms.
lives not defined by algorithms nor corporations.
